This was a nice read. I think there were some really strong elements here. I can see this being perfect for a play or an episode in a short anthology on tv. Its good work, keep at it.

Thank you 🤠 I wrote this story before Christmas, as my take on the ghosts of Christmas past. I know I wanted ghosts but didn't know where to take it. And I remembered that Saints without proper burial often miraculously announce themselves.

Hi Levi, I am a reader on this platform and look forward to your work given the tone of your opening section.

I have shared this with family and friends that I think will appreciate your talent.

I am not a Luddite but I don’t use my phone for $$. I know that must seem odd in this day and age—Still often with tech, better safe than…

But I will do so when I am back on my Mac. I hope that will be sufficient.

Stay the course! God Speed.

Stunning craft here. The moment when Benedetto shows them the hall full of men who believed they were justified by their suffering is absolutely gutpunching. I once knew somebody who carried resentment like armor for years, convinced the world owed them something, and watching them age into bitterness was brutal. The distinction between suffering that refines versus suffering that corrodes is somethingg faith communities desperately need to understand better.

Thank you! 🤠 and that's a great point as well. There is what looks like suffering that God puts us through, and there is suffering of our own creation.

I admit I cried. What a terrifyingly beautiful story.
