I have found many things that I used to love in the world don’t do it for me anymore, it must be a grace from the Lord, to pull me deeper into himself. I love the peace that enters into past places of hunger. That’s true freedom to me.
I couldn't have said it better! I feel the same way about a lot of things, music and movies that I can no longer enjoy anymore. But like you said, it does not feel wrong or bad to lose them, it feels better. So it makes you wonder how many aspects of our lives is similar.
